Thursday - Riverstone Cruise
Cruise with us or meet up with us on Thursday 19 March 2020 (included in vehicle registration cost). From Caroline Bay Car Park off Marine Parade entrance at 1pm we will leave and cruise to the gorgeous Riverstone Castle and Restaurant. Browse the shops, wander through the amazing gardens or have a cuppa in the world- renowned restaurant. Lunch and Afternoon tea are available all day but to avoind disappointment booking is essential 03 431 3505 or https://www.riverstonekitchen.co.nz/ . You can then cruise back to Timaru in time to have a look around, grab a meal and rest up in time for your big weekend.
Friday - Go Geraldine Cruise
Leaving Caroline Bay from 11am on Friday 20 March 2020, join us for a leisurely cruise to the picturesque town of Geraldine.(included in vehicle registration cost). Geraldine, nestled in the foothills of the Southern Alps, enjoys a warm micro climate and has been billed by the Lonely Planet Guide as the “loveliest town in New Zealand” so make sure you get there to soak up everything the town has to offer. Following your scenic countryside drive you will arrive in town to a dedicated parking area close to the centre of the town, where you can picnic with your vehicle or enjoy a leisurely lunch at one of the many delicious cafes. Then take a wander along the tree-lined streets to browse the boutiques specialising in everything from giftware to crafts, fashion and quality homewares. The town is renowned for its art scene and boasts a number of galleries or you can choose to visit an artist in their studio. There will be live music on the Village Green, Geraldine Auto Restorations will open their doors so you can catch a sneak peek of recent restorations and their hall of fame. The highly acclaimed Vintage Car and Machinery Museum is also a must-visit attraction. A riverside walk or a stroll through Talbot Forest is a great way to round off your time in this gem of a town.
Friday Night - Main Street Cruise
Leaving Caroline Bay at 6pm Friday 20 March 2020. Join us for a cruise of our local main streets. Starting from the bay, cruise up and down the main street of Timaru, then out to Pleasant Point and from there to Temuka. Enjoy the waving crowds and the beautiful countryside as you take a short tour of our district. This is a highlight each year with enthusiastic crowds lining the streets to view hundreds and hundreds of vehicles. We finish in Temuka with the "Rock and Stop" where you can stop and enjoy the atmosphere (or you can drive through and head back to Timaru). Park up (if you’re one of the first vehicles you can park on the main street otherwise you will need to park on the side streets) and take a wander around the cars and people

Friday Night - Surfing USA Party.
Tickets $30pp Open to the public and registered participants, bookings essential. Come and party with us after the cruise, dress to theme or just join in and you're bound to have a great night. Supper is provided and the doors open at 8pm. The party goes until late so you won’t miss out if you meander in after the cruise. Come and start your weekend out with a bang

Saturday is the big Rock and Hop Gala day.
Along with the cars on display at Caroline Bay there will be a Rock and Roll extravaganza with dancers, funky stalls, best dressed, lots of competitions, a bar, a band and plenty of entertainment, the atmosphere is fantastic. We finish with the vehicle prize giving and then our $10,000 lucky ticket draw which sells out so make sure you buy yours early.
Saturday Night - Rock your Socks Off Party $40pp Open to the public and registered participants, bookings essential. Come party the night away at the Caroline Bay Hall and the attached marquee. We have a night of Rock and Roll fun, dance, drink and rock to Che Orton and Four on the Floor. We are extremely lucky to have Che and this great band, you will love the music and the atmosphere. Come along and let your hair down in style.
Also happening on Saturday night If you're not one of the Rock Your Socks Off ticket holders don’t despair, there will be plenty to see and do in Timaru. Take a wander into town and enjoy a meal at one of our fabulous restaurants, or pop into one of our local bars and enjoy a chat with our friendly locals.
Sunday - Bacon and Eggs on the Bay
(Open to the public and registered participants, bookings essential) Enjoy a scrumptious buffet breakfast before you go on your way. Breakfast is on at the Marquee on the Bay from 8am to 10am for bacon, eggs and a coffee and of course a chat. Sunday Cruise (included in vehicle registration cost) Join us back on Caroline Bay to say your goodbyes until next year.
Sunday Cruise to Tekapo Leaving Caroline Bay at 10.30 we have a cruise heading to Tekapo with a lunch on the beach beside the Lake Tekapo Ski Club.
Early bird registration: We are limiting the number of cars so don't be disappointed. Get in early with your registration. Book your "Surfing USA" and "Rock Your Socks Off" tickets at the same time, you don't want to miss out on either. Please choose your tickets carefully as there will be no refunds on tickets, however you are more than welcome to transfer them but please let us know the details of the new ticket holders.
